DSP Trading started in 1996 by merchandising live and dressed chicken supplying the different markets (public and private) in most parts of Cavite.

In the latter part of year 2002, the DSP Management thought of venturing into LECHON MANOK business. Thus, a new business outfit was registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the GS PAGTAKHAN Lechon Manok (GSPLM). It started with barely two (2) store outlets in Imus, Cavite.

The sales of these pioneering outlets, although not yet so big, were quite encouraging that the GSPLM Management got so inspired to put up more outlets in other parts of the province.

GSP Lechon Manok were produced from freshly-dressed (not frozen) chicken meat individually pierced through stainless steel roast bars which were symmetrically roasted over traditional charcoal ember. The electrically-driven roasting machine is installed in a roasting booth made of glass encased paneling on stainless framings complete with an exhaust fan attached to an air duct or chimney.
