Excelta, a 100% Filipino-owned corporation, was organized on August 9, 1967. From its modest roots, the company has grown to be the country’s present market leader in the fire-fighting industry. Top of the line product launched and nurtured by Excelta are Bronco, Donewell and Quench Fire Extinguishers where such brands are billboarded on all its lines. In 1980, it launched Bronco Guard Batuta (Nightsick with teargas), for use by security guards. Ultimately, it landed in the hands of the Barangay Tanods all over the country, which remains up to now a standard equippage.
